Built around one system: the federal one.
Work Injury Centers of Arizona · Phoenix, AZ · Updated 2026-09-14
Work Injury Centers of Arizona is a Phoenix medical clinic that treats one kind of patient: the injured federal employee. Postal carriers and clerks, VA staff, TSA officers, Border Patrol and federal law enforcement, DoD civilians, Bureau of Prisons staff, and anyone else covered by the Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA).
We started this clinic out of frustration with how medicine treats injured federal workers. Most patients arrive having already been told no: by an agency, by a clinic that doesn't understand OWCP, sometimes by their own doctor. They are under-believed. We built a practice to fix that.
What makes us different
- Federal only. We do not treat private-sector or State of Arizona workers' compensation cases. Every process in the building is built for the Department of Labor.
- Doctors who write federal narrative reports every week. Mechanism of injury, diagnosis, causation and work restrictions, in the language OWCP requires.
- OWCP case managers on staff. CA-1, CA-2, ECOMP filing, continuation of pay, authorizations and agency communication, handled here, free of charge.
- No out-of-pocket cost on accepted claims. Treatment is billed directly to the U.S. Department of Labor.
Our providers
Our medical team is enrolled with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Workers' Compensation Programs, to treat injured federal employees under FECA. Provider names, credentials, board certifications and photos are being added to this page; in the meantime, call (602) 760-1401 and we will tell you exactly who you will see.
Our mission
"When we can get a patient back to work at full duty, we know our mission has been accomplished." That is the finish line we measure ourselves by. Not a form filed, not a claim opened: a federal employee back at work, paid, and treated.
Where we are
9150 W. Indian School Rd., Suite 138, Phoenix, AZ 85037, on the west side. We see federal employees from across the Phoenix metro, including Glendale, Avondale, Goodyear, Peoria, Buckeye, Tolleson and Litchfield Park. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Accessibility
We want every injured federal employee to be able to use this website. It is built to WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines: keyboard navigation, a skip-to-content link, descriptive alt text, sufficient color contrast and readable type sizes. If any part of this site is hard for you to use, call (602) 760-1401 and we will help you directly and fix the problem.
